BACKGROUND 

Accomplished lawyers of Pakistani origin are found around the globe and serve in important roles at major law firms, corporations, NGOs, and government. How can their individual skills, training, and desire to implement positive change in Pakistani society be driven by a collective discussion to update outdated laws, policies, and legislation impacting all citizens of Pakistan, including the many living outside its borders? Specifically, what role can these lawyers play in:  

1. Developing access to justice programs  

2. Strengthening effective, expedient, and independent judiciary on federal, provincial, and local levels  

3. Promoting fundamental human rights  

4. Making citizens aware of their rights under the Pakistan constitution
